Default Boost issue

So I am in the process of tuning my ms6, I am somehow pressurizing my vc. I noticed this when doing a boost leak test. I have pressure building and finally escaping from the oil cap if all places. Could it be a bad pcv valve? I am removing the breather from the vc to the tip. Where do I start with figuring this out? I did do a search and did not find much.
Thanks for the help

I was under the impression that when doing a boost leak test you will lose a little bit of pressure past the rings into the crankcase especially if the engine is cold.

Yup, there's always open valves somewhere.
