(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I need a tip: what and where should look for.. yesterday I was stopped by police.. speed... However after small chat I was released and asked to go. I turned the key and... nothing. All light on console were OK. But starter did not turned on. I asked Police (2 guys) to push me and this helped of course. Same situation was on next stop (gas station). And I already thought that it is because failed starter. But definitely no - After next gas station brake (I had to do 1000km yesterday) car started normally. Same today morning. I'm confused totally. So can you please help me with some tips - what should I check before visiting the service? I have to do same trip this Friday and I'm little bit stressed ![]() Thanks a lot!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Two most popular things- 1) starter binding up 2) starter primary loose or corroded For 1, use a socket extension or similar to reach through the Intake Mani and give it a few love taps. You'll often here a pop as the bind is released. Will start normally after that, but is often indication of wear and expect it to happen again For 2, go up from underneath (or remove IM) and check condition of the largest wire connected to the starter. Many have reported this connection to be either loose or corroded, either resulting in poor connection.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i installed the 3bar map sensor, and that harness runs to the starter, i guess some how it got loose when i installed the 3 bar and i had the same problem no starter, went under there and wiggled some wires around and sure enough the bitch works again so deff check that out
