Default 3" crush bend vs 2 1/2" mandrel bend exaust

I am new to the Mazda world as I just purchased 1 month ago a 06' speed 6 and love the car. I am however wanting more power already and am seriously considering going to the local exaust shop and having a custom 3" crush bend exaust made for the car, but before I do I was just wondering how much a crush bend exaust would really restrict flow. And due to the piping size it should still flow better than a 2 1/2" mandrel bend right?

Do it right, buy a 3inch system. Corksport is not a bad system, as well as a few others. You arent going to save that much money going local, neither will the muffler properly be matched tuned. 3" crushed sucks, so does 2.5".

+1 to haltec's comments

on a side note a crush bend only hampers performance when it is more then 30 deg.

Actually I dont think the factory exhaust is that much of a restriction if you have the stock cats, I replaced both and it made a major difference.
