A 10lb chunk of iron that is strong enough to keep the entire engine from vibrating has got to also be strong enough to keep it from flexing. This is going to be the cheapest custom block girdle ever. I think I am going to get PTPs plug and then cut off the little metal pipe that goes into the block for the oil pickup and then machine off about a 1/8" from the area where that oil pick up is so it can clear the PTP plug. Then I am going to take the gears out, pop the bearing out, and drill holes in the cover so the oil drains out, and bolt that shit back together and slap that overweight, ugly bitch back on. Hell yeah for cheap mods.
