Default Cylinder Head Bolts

I recently had to remove the head and get it cleaned up, serviced, etc. When reinstalling the head, am I able to reuse the stock head bolts? The shop manual doesn't mark them as replace and it has a section on page 01-10-27 about bolt inspection. Am I correct that I can reuse the bolts as long as they are within spec? Thanks.

No. The head studs are torque-to-yield devices. If the proper torquing procedures is followed during installation, the studs will stretch. While you *could* reuse them, I think it would be fair to say that most people on the forum would recommend replacing them.
