MS6 Front Axle Options

So I have a bad driver side axle and have already tried two aftermarket brands that have not held up. I put about 22k miles a year on the speed 6 so I can't keep swapping axles all the time.

I finally decided to buy OEM but the dealer I spoke with canceled my order saying there is a national back order on the item with no anticipated restock date. That being said, what do you guys recommend for a good quality driver side aftermarket axle?

sorry to thread jack, just want to know what brand you already tried, so we could possibly stay away from it in the future.

did you ever tried the local parts store cv axle? most of the time they have lifetime warranty, just a hassle tho since its 50/50 on their quality

Surtrak/trakmotive from rockauto. I forgot the brand of the second one but lasted even less.

have you tried to find one from a scrap yard? Not sure the cost or shipping but there is this place that I found a speed6 with the RH axle. South Island Imports auto recycling specializing in used Toyota 4x4 and Honda parts plus many other makes and models.

Hey, yeah I though about that. I still have my driver side shaft, only thing wrong was a small tear was starting on the boot. Im thinking I'll have a local place rebuild it and see how long it lasts.

Other side I'll probably eBay and have rebuilt as well. I see a lot of "JDM" one posted with free shipping with supposedly low miles.
