Default Mazdaspeed3 won't shift into gear

I'm having problems with my 2008 mazdaspeed3. I just recently replaced the clutch kit. I drove the car ten miles only problem I was having second gear acted a little funny a couple of times when I went to shift. About a block from my house I went to push the clutch it to slow down for a stop sign and the car seemed to stay in gear then I put it in nuetral. Made it back to my house tried to bleed the clutch. Nothing happened. Changed the slave still the same. I have s firm pedal and feels like it should. I just can't shift threw any gears when the car is on. Shifts just fine when the car is off. I just don't get it I drove it almost ten miles and then it started doing this and now I am stuck.

Anyone have any ideas? The pedal feels fine. The slave cylinder pushed the clutch fine. I just don't understand what would cause this. It drove fine for 10 miles. I have seerched everything I can.

Anyone have any ideas. I have seerched all over the internet and checked everything out. Drove it for 10 miles then couldn't get my car into gear. The slave is pushing the clutch fork just fine. No air in the lines. Brand new clutch setup also

Hey there mr. sensitive. This isn't facebook and no one replied because they didn't have any ideas. Add to the fact not many knowledgeable owners remain on this forum. Most of the members are now newbies that make a single post for help and never come back until another problem arises..

Ever think of that? Regardless, I just now saw this and would have asked you to check the things you already have. So don't be so butthurt. You got it fixed now tell us what happened. It will help someone else in the future. After all, isn't that what forums are all about? Hint....

Not sensitive just didn't receive any help at all. I have helped several ppl on the forums if I can. No worries though. The problem was with the fedenza flwheel. It has some sort of green paint that burns off and you have to slip the clutch a couple good times to burn it off. After 10 miles it started to get hot and melt and was sticking that's why it was hard to shift. So I parked it and the flyeherl glued itself to the clutch. Making it always stay engaged. I had to drive it and drop the clutch hit the brakes hard to break it free after about 10 minutes. I drove it another 30 miles working like a champ now.

That doesn't seem right you should have to do that. I would imagine that coating is there to prevent corrosion until installed and should be cleaned off before being bolted on. Glad you got it sorted.

No sir that it the correct procedure. I even called and talked the fedenza about it. That coating does not come off untill the clutch is slipped a couple times.

I thought it was weird also. I even used brake cleaner to clean before install.

Did this method end up working? The solution's bewildering to me, wanted to know if it ended up working.

Well I just installed that flywheel on a speed 6 about 7 months ago. My instructions said to remove the green coating before installation. That is what I did. I didn't have any issues with not being able to shift into gear.

You really should clean the coating before installation.
