Default Oh No Check Engine Light!

Hey Guys, Just drove to the barber shop got a haircut. Got out of the barber shop, let the car warm up for a min. Then I got a check engine light, Scanned it with my dash hawk and read: P2119 (Throttle actuator control throttle body range/performance problem) I couldn't accelerate. Like I would almost have to floor it in order for it to rev, It was really weird!! Why would this happen?? I turned of the engine then turned it back on, Check Engine light was still on but i was able to drive home.

Thanks,

BigO

i never had this code, but i've had the same problem. my codes were a bit different. they had to do with the voltage at one of the throttle position sensors. apparently, i fried one. did you by chance hook up a map clamp?
are you phillyb v2.01?

You haven't by chance done the throttle body coolant bypass have you? Was it significantly below freezing outside when this happened?

Could be a fluke. I wouldn't worry unless it starts to pop up frequently.

Probably faulted due to low coolant temp (enough time for 1 drive cycle but never detected temp above 40F, sensor didn't reach op threshold). you should follow the 10 mile/10 minute rule for driving. Don't worry about it if it doesn't come back.
