(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score While taking off the intake manifold, I accidentally disconnected the entire oil stick assembly from the oil pan. I have attached a photo so nervy one can see where it is disconnected. I just jammed it back in but it seems to wiggle around and there is a small rubber gasket that is destroyed. Any idea how to safely reassemble this so it won't pop out again? Thanks for the help.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's held in by a bolt on the intake manifold. There should be a tab on the dipstick tube up there.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean but I was wondering if I have to replace the rubber gasket that seems to have been destroyed where the tube enters the block.
