| Not Ranked : 0 score Many of the aftermarket rear inner boot options might interfere slightly with the rubber for the swaybar frame mount. The shape of the inner used by the factory only had a couple of folds/ribs with a flat section to clear the swaybar bushings. I think the aftermarket commonly are only concerned with the cup and shaft diameters and assume the boots will clear other components.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I believe the outters can be had aftermarket without issue. I have an aftermarket boot on my left inner cup. The shaft was rebuilt and the tech used standard looking boots found on most other CVs. When I installed the shaft I took a hacksaw blade and had to remove a small amount of the rubber that sticks out from under the swaybar frame bushing. Although they werent in contact at the time, it was close enough if the boot were to expand from centrifugal force or the shaft changing angle from suspension movement. I however have not had any issues with the modification to the bushing. Probably will never be a problem, I just dont like hack substitutions.
