Default rear diff options

I would like to upgrade the rear diff to support some launches. There are so many options now, that I am overwhelmed.
On street unit there is a brace (no mount upgrades?)
Front mount, rear mount
Rear bushings (reuse the stock mount?) from TT
CPE rear diff mount

So....is it enough to just upgrade the bushings? Would that be the same as say, the CPE mount?

Thanks!

Search is your friend. This dead horse has been beaten to a pulp.

Dont get just bushings, they are nearly worthless.

The street unit rear mount and the AWR front mount is a good upgrade.

I'm running a cpe upper rear and a turbinetech forward mount. It is pretty solid back there.
Bushings alone aren't worth it by any means.

some advice, if you decide to do the rear diff mount, you might as well buy a rsb too, since they both require about the same type of work to install

What does a rear mount offer that the bushings won't? So, a front mount would be needed in addition to the rear then...interesting

The metal of the rear mount stress cracks and they is how they fail.

Is the CPE mount the "top" mount? I really don't want to drop 500 on two mounts if I don't have to. If the one mount is enough, such as the CPE or sure Dreadnaught or SU StiffDiff...it would be nice

just buy both SURE juggernaught and SURE dreadnaught whoever tells you that you only need the lower rear dif brace also called the dreadnaught is an idiot! do both and you wont have to worry about ever needing to replace them again and your launches will be cherry!

I'm running the dread only. I was amazed how much more solid the setup felt with just the top mount upgrade. have launched as high as 6k no problems.

get the top mount first. if you can swing it, get both.

Would you think that a "thunk" noise upon shifting (most of time) from the rear (sounds like that area), could be failed mounts on the diff? I know the epic "thump launch" is a diff issue...

On my car it was the trans mount, but I think the rear diff was on its way out as well because I replaced the diff mounts first and it reduced the chunk sound.
