Default Shift resistance

I found similar threads but not the same.
New slave, Southbend Stage 2, Fomoco trans fluid.
I get resistance shifting into R 1,2,3, less as gears go higher. I bleed the slave each time the resistance subsides for a few days then comes back. With bleeding there is dark oil, about 3 to 4 ounces, that i bleed to somewhat clear. I blead all the brakes to clear all the old oil out of the system. What else can i do or check?

May be a unrelated issue but i have to smash the clutch into the carpet, maybe the How To Clutch Adjust would help this. Slave seems to move the fork about a half inch.

TIA

Sorry to ask but just to make it clear ? fomoco oil was poored into the trans not the brake tank right ?
when parked not running is the shifter work ok ?
If pedal goes to the floor it indicate master/slave problems or something with the fork vs clutch kit. Was it a brand new kit with a new flywheel where the fw height is set to match the disk and pp height ?

Have you checked if the pedal isn't craked ? i did read about some issue with speed 6 where an heavier pp is too much for the pedal linkage

Is the slave OEM Mazda? Might need to check the clutch pedal bracket underneath the dash.

It is a Perfection Clutch slave from Rock Auto. I don’t see any leaks from it.
Will check under dash for cracks in the peddle assembly or firewall

I'd hate to say to spend more money but try purchasing the OEM Mazda slave for this car.

Granted I have a speed3 but the importance may apply to the 6's.

But.

Probably a good idea.
What are signs of a bad master clutch cylinder?
