Default KONI Sale on TireRack

Just a heads up - 20% off Koni products 'til 05.31.11.

2100-4045's for under $600 shipped, for example.

The Sports are $544.37 shipped to me which is the cheapest I've seen yet. Right front isn't going to be in stock until the end of the month it looks like.

I bought mine at that price of $540 shipped, the new ones. You guys should hurry and buy it before it takes 3 months to get them. They will take even longer to get here now with the promotion.

good stuff. thats a long time for a promotion!
would those work well with eibach prokit springs? i dont know a whole bunch about suspension, but im not really happy with just the springs. i feel like i bottom out on any lil pot hole or speed bump. or atleast it sounds that way.

i saw a how to on here, are they all that hard to install? hardest ive installed is a DP i think

^^ You're using Eibach's with the stock struts? Oh boy... the stock struts can BARELY hold on with the stock springs. I can only imagine your ride quality.

Koni YELLOWS would work well with your Eibachs. Koni FSD's are meant for stock springs only. I recommend the SOFTEST setting for the Yellows, plenty firm and the ride quality is the best. I got the new "ms3-specific" ones and they're awesome. Easy to install the back set, more effort for the fronts.

Search on what else to buy before installing a new suspension.

R.MS3 - WTF is going on in your avatar?

Also, Koni Sports + springs, otherwise stock height is required. It's not so much the spring as it is the lack of travel for the FSD's.

.... Did you go to TireRack like an adult and put in your car?... or go to Koni's US website where it takes 4 seconds to find the part number?

We already told you to get Koni Sports (yellows,) with your springs.

My avatar? lolz. I have no idea about specifics but it's WWE and the tough guy's face when he gets scared is priceless. Thought it was funny haha.

Anyway, Koni came up with "new" MS3-specific suspension like 6 months back. Before, we used the same as the regular 3 suspension, which didn't work too well for our cars. Look up at Koni's website for right part # and order at Tire Rack.

And if you said it yourself that your car bottoms out, it's because your springs ate up the stock struts. They're just too soft and shitty for our cars, that's why Mazda upgraded it for the 2010up models.

Actually, you did ask, so don't be a fuck-head and act all butt-hurt that we're not your internet shopping bitches. I'm not being a 'fucking tough guy,' so I have no idea what that means given the context. You and I both know you didn't look shit up on TireRack because you'd have to be a window-licking paint-chip eating shit-faced retard to not be able to navigate their site.

How about you do the fucking work yourself?

Hang on, I'll get the stroller. I think the bottles are still in the daiper bag:

Is that better? Now stop thread-jacking with "can you give me suspension advice when I don't know my head from my ass," and enjoy the sale now that I walked you to it.

...... So, since you're continuing to troll my thread and jack it to Hell & back, how about you explain to me something.

In fact, you can use my picture since you quoted it to post it twice.
If there aren't any Koni 'Yellows,' on TireRack, what are all the red arrows pointing at?

Did you really just call me bro?
... do you spike your hair and pump your fist, too?

Anyways, you can't brush off the fact that you look like a stupid tool.. especially after saying I'm not worth a legit response after how stupid you made yourself look just above.

You're a lazy faggot who talks shit about maturity after:
a.) asking us to find the parts for you,
b.) saying the parts aren't there to prompt us to prove you're wrong (aka achieve your original goal of having us do the work for you,)
c.) insinuating that if we had this conversation in person and I made you look as stupid in real life as I did in this thread, you'd beat me up.

Who's the internet tough guy again?

p.s.
If you're not trolling, why do you keep responding? You got your answer so now you can fuck off.

I want some. Wonder if I could get these to work with my BCs. Or I will sell the BCs and need to buy springs (wish I could get some RPM K-specs) and somones junked OEM fronts...well I guess I have time to decide unless they got OOS forever. Also it is charging me tax in CT. That is BS.

Although you can certainly buy from Tire Rack and they have some of the best customer service and stock on hand of anyone in the US, the "20% off Shock Value" is nationwide through any KONI retailer. Additionally, orders on the MS3 and all other applications have been increased to hopefully improve availability and reduce backorders.

As mentioned before, KONI Sports are the model of KONI dampers that are painted yellow and often called KONI Yellows. They are the exact same thing. If you are using lowering springs like the Eibachs or BCs mentioned above, use the Sports instead of the FSDs.

Well im not sure how I would incorporate these into the BC COs, unless I can cut the BCs open just like the OEM ones? I will have to go ask over on 6crew cause they were the ones saying the BCs were OK, but the struts were junk so the replaced them with Koni’s and then they were great.

Im not finding them cheaper anywhere else.

I am sorry but I was picturing a traditional type, fixed perch lowering spring and did not realize that it is a coil-over kit that you were talking about. There really is not going to a realistic way to incorporate the KONIs into you BC coil-over kit on the front. Since the MS3 rear shock is stand alone from the spring and height adjuster (should be but I haven't seen the BC system in case they did something really odd), then you could use a rear shock but not the front.

Selling the coil-overs and moving on to a standard type lowering spring with a good reputation for engineering and some KONI Sports will probably give you the better all around package.

Anyone know if any other Koni retailers have these in stock? I want to cancel my order through tirerack.com because they are saying May delivery. I was going to try calling protege garage tomorrow and see if they would price match if they even have them.

Well he said he had them in stock now, and was going to process the order tonight, so I don't see why there should be a delay.

I just put koni yellows on my car. Even fully stiff they could be stiffer autocross. I like the way it is fully stiff on the street. I might need to got back to eibach sportline springs now. I put the h&r's on there because the eibachs were to stiff on stock struts. Now with the konis I can soften it up for the street. They do feel better than stock for sure.

Wrong shocks.
That explains why they were in stock.
