Default KW Variant 1 Coils vs. H&R Coils

I'm trying to decide between the KW Variant 1 and the H&R Coilovers. Does one have any benefit over the other? Which has the most compliant (comfortable) ride at the lower settings?

KW hands down, don't even spend the money on the H&R's.

Thanks Kevin. Why is the KW 1 a better set-up? Do you lose suspension travel as you lower it the same as you do with H&R

I have ridden in both - H&R has a more compliant ride. KW has stiffer, linnear springs that are better suited for track use. And V1's are a bit harsh at any height w/o adjustable damping. But if you're going to drop the car beyond 1.5" get KW's and call it a day. The stiffer rate is better suited for limited suspension travel.

If you wanted comfort... you wouldnt be considering coilovers to begin with. KW's have progressive rate springs so as the suspension demand increases so does the springs rate. V1s are 1 way adjustable but you can spend another $500 and gef the V2s and be a straight baller

LOL few corrections there:
- KW is a linear system. Rear has "dead" coils to maintain control at full droop.
- V1's have no damping adjustment.
- If you're paying more than $300 for rebound adjustment/inox you're being ripped off.

Is $1500 at Protege Garage the best price for the KW V2's. Has anyone found a better price?

Alright, I bought the KW V1's and I put them on today. Two questions...
1. How do you adjust the rear height? Are you supposed to use an allen wrench at the underside of the spring perch?
2. To raise the ride height at the front do you turn clockwise or counter clockwise?

The car is slammed right now.

I almost forgot...

1. The rear is easy to adjust. Jack up the rear so the suspension is unloaded. A 10mm hex socket allows you to raise and lower the perch.
2. To adjust the front you turn counter-clockiwise.

I bought the KW's shortly after posting. They're great. I definitely made the right choice.
