Default MS3 calipers on MS6

So, I totaled the ms3 two months ago, and now I picked up a ms6. Well I still have the ms3 and parting out.

My question is does the ms3 brakes fit on the ms6. In other words, is the mounting bolts spaced the same. The reason for this question is, because the ms3 has a beefier and more modern design. The design on the 6 presses on the outer pad from about the middle up. In the 3 the caliper is design to put pressure in almost the entire pad. Below are some images for comparison.

So does anyone have any solid knowledge on this, all I've gotten so far is "I don't think so"

I was hoping I could get an answer before going into it. I guess I'll try it, and report back.

The bolt spacing is different. This is why the Evo calipers are an easy upgrade on the 6 and not on the 3.

I had this SAME exact conversation with CS, because I wanted to see what was needed to convert their MS3 BBK to a MS6. They said i would need to modify the mounting brackets.

I think the EVO Caliper/rotor would be an easier upgrade. PLUS you can snag up a set of light weight 2 piece OEM size rotors for an EVO.
