Default quick question

Hey guys, I got a Mazdaspeed Cai on my ms6 now and now I'm looking for some lowering springs. But the thing is that I can't seem to find some that I like, I really wanted the eibach sportline springs but I've tried many different websites and they all said that they have bin discontinued. Idk why they seem like good springs with the perfect drop! 2in at the front and 1'5in at the back. Now idk which springs to get that offer the same drop and quality, I have spent many hours online and I can't seem find anything I want I've looked at the H&R sport springs and the eibach pro kit but they don't give me the drop I'm looking for. So I would really like to know what sort of springs you guys use/recommend oh and tried the 'search' but it didn't really give me exactly what I was looking for. So thanks for the input.

There's not much else out there for the MS6 besides Tein and AutoExe. The former I wouldn't recommend due to frequent reports of sagging. And the latter costs over $500. For what you want, H&R will provide you a decent functional drop without killing your geometry or ride quality IMO.

Although MS6 OEM dampers are pretty stout, you might consider a set of Bilsteins to complement the springs (if within your budget). GL.

Tein really I have looked around and didn't really find any springs they make for an ms6, do you happen to know the name of them?

Oh and BTW I want my car low enough that I can only fit perhaps 2fingers between the wheel and fender.

They aren't MS6 specific but some retailers sell them as compatible.

Whats the biggest thing you can fit between the tire and fender? Because I read that the bilsteins drop your car an extra 0.5in is that true? Because I'm strongly considering doing the pro kit and bilstein combo my self!

Unless the fronts have a different perch placement there shouldn't be any change in ride height. If you're considering dampers you might also consider the H&R full kit for 1100 and set your own ride height.

You have a point there, but for $1,100+ for coilovers hmm idk. I think I rather spend that on a FMIC or TBE you know? I was just looking for something simple and cheapish to lower my car I'm tired of it looking like a boat next to my rsx lls. So I think ima just do the H&R or Pro Kit For now, at least until I'm more focused on the suspension work or have the $$ to burn on the coilovers.

most suspension pieces for all gen1 mazda6 are interchangeable (except rsb and a few other things)

what you need to worry about is proper damping and spring rates for the car's weight

Nicee you got it murdered out! And looks like you got Mazda 6 rims on, nicee they a lot lighter but idk it looks a little to high for my taste. But that do you think about the v6 lowering springs on our cars I'm still a lil skeptical about that.

Are they really? Wow that's something different people usually put 6 wheels on them. And really is it really that low!? I mean the back looks low and the front hmm so so but then again its kinda dark so I can't really tell. But how you said you can only fit 1finger that sounds low enough for me unless you have big fingers Lmao.

I'm not sure what you mean by cheap parts? Are you addressing those Megan racing lowering springs for like $160?

yea i mean the megan springs save up and get proper springs for your car. Your car will love you for it in the long run.

Just because it can fit doesnt mean you should stick it in there....... Thats also advice for life......

Hahaha! True besides those springs look like they would make my Shit low! Like Honda civic low which is a no no I guess our cars arnt ment to be that low Das why the springs for our cars drop is 1.5in which I guess wont be that bad, dispite the large wheel well gap.

Go with H&R springs. The drop is perfect and the ride quality is where its at. Best bang for buck if you cant afford coilovers!
