(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  cx-7 cluster swap One on the digital displays for the mileage went out so I bought a replacement cluster. Once plugged in the new cluster will not let me start the car. I tried removing the negative terminal on the battery to reset the computer but the cluster still will not let me start the car. Everything else works just fine. Any ideas? Thanks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You may find your answer here is the workshop manual (post#13) : CX-7 FAQ Thread I find it odd that a simple cluster would prevent the car form starting...did you try to start the car with the cluster unpluged? Maybe you accidently damaged some important wires or blew a fuse...

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It seems like the cluster is programmed to the key. Car does not start with out the original cluster installed. Talked to the dealer and its needs to be programmed in order to work. I tried everything including the Open the Door 3 times program procedure but no dice. Dealer wants $125 to reprogram |
