Lightbulb filling the spare tire well

I currentlt have the cpe catback . all the drone seems to come from the spare tire well. i also have a subwoofer mounted there. would it be possible and easy to fill the spare tire well with bondo or fibereglass and make a custom enclosu for my sub/amp box . it'd also be awesome to mount an optima battery sideways in there and hopefully cut back on the drone at the same time.

thoughts and opinions ?

Yup! I'd aim for removeable though.

OK, well my thought was to fill it and have some sort of enclosure there while filling. I will make the sub and amp removable, just not the enclosures they will be in. If any one has any ideas on this please let me know. I know I am kind of flying blind here. My last vehicle had a Trunk so the battery relocation wasnt an issue. For the cx-7 I really want to be able to maintain all the cargo space. I will definitely be doing a how to when I decide to do this

You could try some sound deading material to wrap the entire wheel well. Should help with the drone. We have a lot of drone with a magnaflow cat back exhaust on our mazda 6. Really didn't want the 7 to turn out like that, even though it is a nice power increase!

Well , a friend of mine who specializes in working with composites suggested foam and fiberglass. He gave me some foam today. So I'll keep you guys updated. Hopefully I'll be able to get to this tonight.
