(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score As we know the Mazda's loves to eat light bulbs. I am thinking of replacing my HID with LED. I see a lot of LED bulbs on eBay and Amazon. Many say they fit the CX-7. Has anyone converted over to LED? My concern is that the LED has a small fan on the back of the bulb for cooling and I am wondering how that small metal clip that hold the bulb in place will fit over that to secure the bulb. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just ordered a pair of Lasfit D2S LED bulbs on Amazon. I read in one of the reviews that the lock ring can be relocated in most applications. This kit bypasses the factory ballasts, as well. Hope it arrives soon because one of my xenon bulbs burned out yesterday. I’ll let you know how it goes.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I bought an LED kit from The Retrofit Source, and I found out the hard way that the clips didn't fit correctly. I've been working on a fix to ensure that they are seated properly but I haven't had much time to implement it. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score OPT7 LED Headlights are amazing. They are bright, but not distracting to other drivers, the 7k Lm brightness is perfect (white, not blue), and they have a 2 year warranty. One of my fogs crapped out on me probably due to my constant removal of my front bumper, and they were totally cool about it and sent me a new set free of charge. Great company, great LED lights. These are the ones I got for my Gen2 MS3: Low Beams: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VNBDWPK High Beams: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ACOCMLS Fog Lights: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WNQGYHC |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Wonder how much brighter my H1 high beams would be with those OPT7. An H1 halogen bulb is around 1550 lumens. These are rated at 3500 lumens. @Solarsurge; how much brighter are your high beams now? Very noticeable difference?

Substantially brighter. This was in a very poorly lit area, across a small field, and you can see the fence clearly on the other side. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was contemplating hid or led for a while and eventually went with an Aukee hid kit from Amazon. Also found out that we need an hid adapter for the bulbs. Mine did not originally Come hid. So far, it's brighter. Alot better then OEM halogen. Might switch to led down the road. |
