(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score BNR-S3 on the CX-7 I want to share the experience of using BNR S3 Turbo on its CX-7 with automatic transmission, and at the same time to ask your advice. My current configuration is: BNR-S3, 3 port EBCS, Autoteh HPFP, Inletpipe, Downpipe. As a result, when the tuner finished, I got about 270whp. The figure in the picture nice, but that joy is over, because even at 100% duty cycle turbine inflates 1 bar excess of 3,000 rpm, further more, but pressed to the seat starts from 3,500-4,000 rpm. This led to my friends with a simple chip leave me off. My acceleration of 0 to 60 miles per hour is equal to 8 seconds. I think this is a very long time. Adjuster says that nothing can do about it because it is larger and heavier turbine spins .. However, it is impossible to force faster start BNR-S3 ?? Please tell me what to fix? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Your mod - "inlet pipe". Is that a full 3'' intake or just the turbo inlet? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Who is tuning you? Doesn't sound like it's one of the awesome e-tuners from here on MSF.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Seems about right for an auto bnr s3 on pump gas... No idea why you're maxing out fuel though, that's just bad tuning... Here's a corksport + meth on a cx7 http://www.mazdaspeedforum.org/forum/foru....php?p=2945261

| Not Ranked : 0 score Get a full big intake and have stratified or freaktune tune your car. That will ensure your getting the best out of your mods. |

Do you think a full 3 "intake will help accelerate the spool? Last edited by MS3Shadow; 10-18-2015 at 08:44 AM. Reason: Merge posts | |||

| Not Ranked : 0 score Your catback exhaust will be a restriction now that you have a larger turbo.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Check out post # 20 in this thread: BNR Stage 3 WGA adjustment I also think an intake would help. The CS turbo spools slower than bnr stage 3. Last edited by speed23; 10-18-2015 at 11:48 AM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Like other said, your best bet are breathing mods (better flowing intake, intercooler, exhaust manifold, catback) and a good tune I didnt check the WGA thread for the BNR S3, but when I had problem with my wastegate (too strong spring), I could easily hit 25psi at 3400rpm in second gear with 1/3 throttle...my scenario is extreme, but the wastegate adjustment could improve your spoolup substantialy
