Inlet pipe, cold air intake and egr delete done! It's whistling like a beast! New mufflers going in next week! TMIC, Versatune, Meth kit and H04-882 turbo swamp and the rest of the exhaust line to be done!

Here's some pictures:

Huge muffler gone!!! That thing must have weighted 100 pounds! I put a 4inch magnaflow (https://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=10416) in place of the resonator and new stainless pipe split behind the rear axel and new tips! Pics will follow once I have some time!

Here's the picts!

Is the cold air intake the best thing in a cold/wintery/wet climate? I would think a short ram intake would be safer/better so no water gets sucked in. FYI, I and others have done a lot of testing on SRI vs. CAI, and there are no performance gains from CAI.

What's your turbo budget? I would recommend a BNR stage 2 or stage 3 instead of another k04.

The cp-e.com CAI goes into the front side panel so it is never in contact with water. Furthermore, I also used a pre-filter which is like a "screen" that goes over the regular filter and it's hydrofuge. Turbo wise, I would say around 1000$ for parts and found some nice k04-882 for around 700$. What's the difference between the 582 (cx-7) and the 882?

No way you should do a K04 upgrade for $700. I can't spoon feed you, but look into BNR S2, BNR S3 or Corksport turbo. All three are basically drop in compatible and far superior to the k04 for a few hundred more.

No muffler...it must be loud as hell

Didnt you buy two Magnaflow muffler?

I wouldnt buy made-in-china turbo, but the manifold in your ebay link looks nice (reminds me of my custom manifold)...a turbo+manifold at that price is too good to be true IMO

I initialy swaped my 582 for a 882, and I dont think its a worthwhile mod...better go with a BNR S3 or similar turbo

No I only got this 4 in magnaflow instead of 2: https://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=10416

Look at the pictures above to see the setup. I basically replaced the resonator with the 4in muffler and put the y behind the rear axel. I'll look at the BNR S3!

So youre telling me the exhaust is not loud with just a 4'' magnaflow?

As surprising as it seem, not at all! A bit more than the stock muffler but not that much. The muffler shop told me that due to our turbo, it makes it quieter than regular cars. I'll show you if we meet before the winter.
