| Neutral : +1 score I've heard of people accidentally getting cx7 turbos on there speed3... so probably works the other way around. There is some difference, think the cx7 spools quicker and doesn't flow as much.(not 100% sure) |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah I was told the same thing, that it just spools up at lower rpms to be more of a suv oriented power. Im mainly just looking to see if it mounts up correctly to the dp and manifold. If that does happen, then it shouldnt be a problem i suppose.. Thanks! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Absolutely no change required...the exterior shape of the turbo is the same Only difference is smaller compressor wheel size and exhaust A/R (for the CX-7)...this makes for faster spoolup, but no top end power Id suggest you get Versatuner to tune with the MS3 turbo (spark and VVT timing), otherwise you will find throttle response is slow (compared to the CX-7 turbo)

| Not Ranked : 0 score LOL, When shit broke on it initially, we could totally tell it was one of the first. Overtorqued taillight bolts cracked within a couple months, backup camera fried 3 weeks after purchase, and took 6 weeks to get from Japan. Then turbo, VVT, verious ECU/TCM reflashes. But it never left us stranded. Just quirky. We did have Mazda engineers swarming it at Sebring 2007 with TMIC, CAI and BOV in it. They took pics, and were thrilled to see it modded. Now, with all that is known from MS3/MS6, and good tuning options, I am excited to see these things kicking ass. nothing more fun that dusting other cars off the line and leaving them confused. Like other bloated SUVs and turbo Civics. We do miss the boost. |
