You're talking about the plastic piece that moves as the intake manifold flappers move, correct?

I just broke this off of my 3 the other day. I had to JB weld it back on. Stuck a toothpick on top and a plastic piece on bottom to hold it in position while the weld was curing. Make sure you grab the JB weld that holds up to high heat.

I'm 99% sure you can't buy it separately. You need a new manifold to get that piece. If you go VIP you can access the For Sale forums where people sell their stock manifolds sometimes so you might be able to pick one up for cheap.

thank you so much,I figured, the engine problem i had was due to a faulty hydraulic tensioner,do these cx7 foul iridium's easily? Just bought 4 new,i cant remember if i put new ones in the head after the valve job because I had just changed them before she blew the head gasket and it sat at a mechanic for her extended warranty that took a month to decide they weren't going to pay to fix it so I think they were under water so to speak for a while,It runs perfectly until you put it in gear then missfire city and no DTC..

Holy run on sentence Batman! I have no idea if you are making statements or asking questions. Slow down and try again with some punctuation.
