Lol yes I am not the legal owner of this vehicle, however I will be willing to check. Added benefits besides Increase power such as MPG or so? I am currently not familiar with Versatune, Only Accessport. I'm assuming Fuel pump Internals will be required even tho the platform is currently stock... Give me more information please.

The K04 on the CX-7 doesn't breathe as well as the one on the MS3/6. Fuel pump internals aren't necessary until you start modding. You can pick up some decent fuel economy gains depending on how aggressive you want to get on low load cruise spark advance and AFRs.

As per your Facebook Post, I'm down as well. I'm currently in Ohio (45 minutes West of Cleveland) & Detroit is roughly a 2 hour drive for me. I can pretty much come up whenever, but need enough notice to let the boss know at work.

Current Mods are:

K&N Drop In, Stock Air Box Mod, HKS BOV, ETS TMIC & CS Boost Pipes. I'm also AWD if that makes a difference. I also have the stock TMIC & BPV I can bring & swap out in a few minutes if you'd like as well.

I'm working on scheduling the dyno. It's looking like mid-late April at this point. Everyone wants to put their winter projects on the rollers in the spring.

I put versatune in hoping to improve MPGs. I get worse than most, but post versatume get 17mpgs all highway ~80mph not dring crazy. Basically no change in terms of MPGs. At some point planned try to tune for better MPGs but had hoped to get 20s with an OTS map. Nothing against versatune as it is a great product. Obviously it is my CX7 that for some reason has higher MPGs than it should. Get 14mpgs around town.

Check the accelerator pedal. It sounds like there may be something heavy sitting on it

The base OTS performance tune doesn't have any fuel economy related modifications. I'm hoping to come up with some better all around tunes with this next round of dyno time.

Never in boost, just steady 80mph or less...thats why id like to figure out how to improve MPGs. Reason I got VT. Just need to tune it properly as on OTS map. Others are getting 20 avg and just trying to figure out why I am getting 17 or less. Was going to sell it cause the MPGs are so bad but not worth it.

If 80mph on my MS6 produces mid 20's in the MPG department, I'd be surprised if the CX-7 would be able to manage the same, particularly with the earlier-spool characteristics of the CX-7's K04.

I live in Montreal. I have a 09 CX7 GT AWD. my cars all stock and I don't have a versatune. I was obviously getting worse mileage in the dead of winter, but like everyone else at this time of year, the mileage has improved. I have a scangage as i noticed that I was getting terrible gas mileage too. Obviously, a variety of conditions effect gas mileage as we all know. Hills, temperature, climate, roof rack, tire pressure. I have a heavy foot too, and I always knew that my heavy foot effected the gas mileage. So I try not to race between likes and try and use cruise control or keep a more constant speed. I realize I use kilometers, but to convert it, I do 70-80 too.

My gauge tells me on the highway that the lowest I've had it on average is 9.8 litres/100kilometers so far since the weather has warmed up. I rounded it up to 10. I goggled the conversion and 10 litres = 2.642 gallons, so I'm roughly getting getting 26.42 gallons/62 miles or some where in the low 20's/100 miles depending on road conditions such as hills, wind, temperature, tire pressure and what I'm carrying in the back. my last couple of tanks of regular gas, I got 400km, or roughly 250 miles, city and highway. If I take it easy, maybe I'll be lucky and make it to toronto on one tank of gas with the wife and two kids and luggage. It's roughly 550KM from my place to my brother in laws and the road is not flat and straight.

Front end development and tuning are separate resources. We can do both at the same time.

The drag coefficient on the MS6 is quite low. CX-7 not so much....

I'm aware! I was also trying to suggest that the engine would be less fuel-efficient at that speed because it's somewhat more likely to be out of vacuum.

Are these sessions still available? I have a 2007 CX7 FWD, 62,000 miles and only mod is a Corksport SRI and charge pipe. Do you have to already have your Versatuner bundle to be considered? I am located in the chicago area and can travel on weekends

@Steve@VersaTune; Is this still a thing, I know dyno time was the issue before. Idk if you are familiar with Boost Controlled Performance in Livonia, but they recently installed an AWD dyno that is local and could be a viable option. Just a thought.
