(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  What's missing or wrong in this engine bay photo I see several plastic fasteners missing. Also the hood prop seems to be sitting in some random hole, maybe there was originally a plastic grommet for it or something. What else is wrong? Thanks. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Indeed some things are missing : - the grommet for the hood prop - fastener for the grill/bumper - the left fastener for the intercooler shroud Thats all I can see from the pic Maybe the front of the car was damaged in an accident...

Yes, there was some reason that those plastic push fasteners are missing. Of course AutoCheck says its accident free but I think those reports are close to worthless for the buyer. Here's the link to the car if anyone is curious: Used 2008 Mazda CX-7 Sport for Sale in BUFORD GA 30518 AR Motorsports The car drove great. The hood certainly had several years of small chips on it. At least as many as my 2006 Chrysler 300. So if it did have any front end damage it may have just required a new bumper cover. Hopefully I'll end up being happy when I pick it up tomorrow and coming out OK in the long run. Last edited by sr22captain; 07-04-2018 at 07:49 PM. | |
