Wiring schedmatic for OEM Backup Camera 2008

Just replaced the headunit with a Chinese Android unit. It all works well, except that I can't figure out how to wire up the OEM camera. The wire must be one of those still in the OEM wiring harness. I assume if I can find it than I just need to splice that into the video-in of the new unit?
Any ideas which wire I need?

I'm running into the same problem after studying the whole stereo install. I have an RCA wire from my new radio and one of the connectors has got to be the backup camera. I'm also looking for what I should connect the "Reverse" and "Parking" wires to. I assume the parking one is for DVD playing and can be grounded to black to simplify. The Reverse one is a little more challanging though.

I found this info on another forum and have copied it for your information. Apperantly it needs only 6v, not 12v. You'll have to be creative to drop the voltage down for the OEM camera. I'll be looking at this when I have everything out.

The pins on the original connector are
black = ground
white/grey = 6V
red/white = Video +
black/ white = Video -

Was your car wired with Navi and backup camera from facroty?
If so, the harness is the 4-pin connector on the back of the radio. Should be hanging there is you dont have anywhere to plug it in the new HU....
Now, on the back of the unit (the connector hanging, if OEM provided) has 4 cables, a white cable on the top-left, a yellow cable on the top-right, a black-yellow cable on the lower left and a brown cable on the lower right. (looking at the cable straight forward with the lock towards the top)
Now, i have the color code for the cables but only for the rear harness #2 (the one to whom the reverse camera hooks up with an adapter)
Such cables are:
Black: Ground
White-Grey: 6V
Red/White: Video +
Black-White: Video -

Now, following the connectors on the adapter-cable from the harness to the camera there's a difference in colors....
Harness Brown becomes Red on camera
Harness White becomes Black/Grey on Camera
Harness Blue becomes Brown on Camera
Harness Yellow becomes White on Camera,

If you follow these color codes you will see that on the harness itself the White cable is the Video +, the Black and Yellow is the Ground/Video -, i can only assume the yellow is voltage and the brown is "shield" (as noted on the wiring diagram manual)

PD: I will install my OEM camera with my OEM navi-screen but using the install kit for the Mirror with Reverse camera (0000-8F-M25A) because the harness itself doesnt appear to be sold as is (0000-8F-M26).

Yes, I have the factory nav with backup camera. I got it all figured out. I ordered a backup camera adapter for Mazda that was Axxiss branded and apparently only sold to dealers. Got that from eBay. I found out that the video wires were installed backwards in that harness. Once I swapped them, all worked as planned. Those wires, like you said, could be used to provide power and video, but I wanted to preserve the OEM harness on that, so elected to get the adapter. Thanks for the info. I'm sure future owners/installers will find that usefull.

Got the 6v I needed from my home made voltage dropper from parts I ordered with a big online electronic components company. All works well now. Found the reverse wire in the factory harness and spliced into that wire without damaging the OEM harness.

Just need to get my subwoofers put in the back to make the system kick. Now to reduce the road noise inside the cabin... It's much louder than any other car I've had in recent years. I might get some sound deadening material like Dynomat for the doors.
