(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have a 2008 CX-7 that is going to need brakes soon. I get a vibration at Freeway speeds and when braking. My Question is 2 part. Part 1 - Best Brake Pad Brand for my CX-7 Part 2 - Resurface or Replace Rotors? Thanks Guys! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The workshop manual says 1. Measure the thickness of the disc plate. • If the thickness is not within the specification, replace the disc plate. Minimum front disc plate thickness 26 mm {1.03 in} Minimum front disc plate thickness after machining using a brake lathe on-vehicle 26.8 mm {1.06 in} If you have vibrations the replacement is the best option. ATE set works good in my car for almost 2 years / 30kkm |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Never had an issue with Centric Blank Rotors & Hawk HP Pads. I've had that combo on my CX7 for a few years. Only complaint is brake dust, but that's to be expected with the pads i have, but i'll take it over better stopping power Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score My brakes were replaced by the dealer before I bought it, so OEM parts are good. Braking is strong and steady.
