Need to replace pads and rotors

I have done my MS6, but it was a while ago. I have a BBK so only my rears OEM sized and I used stoptech and EBC sports (redstuff).
Anyways, my CX-7 has warped rotors cause the wife did something wrong like slam on the brakes and then drive thru a huge puddle or something. So I doubt they can be resurfaced and planned to replace them but not sure what to get. Was probably only going to do front and rear even thou rears may be fine.

I did all new brakes on my wife's this past year. Same thing, one of the front rotors was really warped/corroded...so I just decided to do them all.

I went with Centric rotors and Hawk HPS pads, from tirerack and rockauto. Rotors seem fine (nice black coating in the center and cross etching on the face) and I'm happy with the pads. More bite than OEM but also more dust. I don't mind a little extra wheel cleaning for the performance though.

Not sure if you had this issue on the MS6, but I would reccomend buying some extra retaining screws for the rotors (unless you don't care about using them, some auto parts stores told me I didn't need them since the lug nuts provide all the holding force). I ended up getting some online (rockauto again I think). Anyway, mine were very corroded and the heads stripped easily. I snapped one and ended up having to drill and extract it. PITA!

I wouldn't go OEM rotors - too many folks have reported warped front rotors (I realize this is anecdotal and not based on any empirical evidence).

Even the basic Centrics are an upgrade. OEM pads are pretty good though.

90K miles almost, no warping on ours.

Doing the Brakes are easy on this car.

EBC Red pads on mine. Love them.

I dont know if I can do that...no name may be fine as for the most part a rotor is a rotor, but I dont want to buy junk.

Ya I kind of want to find out if it is just a front or a rear so I dont have to do them all, but I dont want to take the time to take them off, then get them inspected and blabla. I want to try to save money but time is also improtant to me. I may do centrics also...I worry that even if I place the order at park city for the OEM rotors they will say its going to cost XX to ship as I think it is a glitch. And OEM are not painted so they rust which I dont really car about. I am just trying to find cheapest solution that I wont regret.

I drill out screws and dont replace.

Any rotor can warp IMO if you slam on the brakes and then drive thru a puddle you have a warped rotor 9/10 times. Im sure thats what my wife did.
(EDIT, I do not beleive in warped rotors anymore. It is due to pad material buildup, which I already have on new rotors due to not beading pads properly. I am going to try to remove buildup with garnet sand paper...)

OK so pads are still on back order. I could pick up a set of front and/or rears for $69.95 each from the dealer so I could do them this sunday. Or just wait a few more weeks for pads to come in...

My EBC fronts are still making noise after a few thousand miles. Whats the deal. Should I take them back apart and put stuff on the back of the pads? I dont know...PITA.
