Jacking points for CX-7?

Any opinions on the best place to jack the front / rear using a floor jack?

The manual has it. I cannot post the link for some reason, but its on the sides far forward and rear on the seam.

I know (but thanks!) - I want to put the front end up on jack stands and thought it would be easier to centrally jack the entire front up and then lower. Not sure I can get a jack stand along side the jack at the typical jack points.

I hope with ramp you mean the 2 metal you drop on the floor such that when driving on it with the 2 front wheels, It'll raise the distance between bottom of the car and the floor.

Lol, yes. You can get them at Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Must hold 4000 lbs or more. I got some old metal ones from a friend that can hold up a tank.

too many breakable things in the middle of the front end, so it'll hafta be from each side.
Or, get one of those garage floor lifts if you have a place to put them

The small brace behind the crossmember is $200 to have replaced when you bend the shit out if it trying to jack up the entire front end, FYI.

Yeah - I'd like to avoid that - have ramps for the oil changes.

Wanted to pull off both front wheels at once (HID install) - I'll live.

I have used the front suspension joint to the rear of front tires.

Cast aluminum engine cast/pan etc not a good place to mount a jack or jack stand.

There are indentations in the sheet metal along the sides under the doors. I grab a small piece of wood (so it doesn't bend the metal) and jack it up.
