Bose head unit power flicker

The head unit in my 08.5 GT flickers like it's starting up. Occasionally it'll fully start up with the BOSE screen and will work just fine but can go out at anytime and get stuck flickering and unresponsive.

While it's flickering the clock and climate control screen works just fine.

Has anyone ran into this before or have any ideas on how to trouble this issue?
