(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So a while ago my speaker stopped playing any type of audio, not even thumps or noise. I have a aftermarket amp with two 10 inch subs wired up using the plug and play PAC unit behind the hu. Worked like a charm until one day everything stopped. No fuses are blown. Finally got around to testing and the yellow/black 12v wire on the bose amp under the passenger seat is reading 11.7v or so. Seems fine. But the remote wire isn't getting any power when I turn the key to on and power on the radio. I can still operate the head unit just fine but I can't get anything out of the speakers. I've tried 2 amps. Any input would be greatly appreciated as to where the amp gets it's power from. I dont have any actual connectors on the wires plugging into the aftermarket amp so the remote wire on that couldve grounded out or something. I'm not sure if the aftermarket and stock turn on would correlate. I'm really stumped. My aftermarket amp is also not getting remote power. I checked all the connections behind the hu and everything is good. |
