(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score 949's Xida CS (AST + Hyperco) Installed I haven't had a change to really drive on these much. What I've noticed so far, first off, these things are LOW! 12.25" fender to hub is the absolute max height these can go. Pinch welds will just under 5" from ground. I've had the fronts as low as 11", and there was no rubbing. The rears, those helper springs were nearly fully compressed at full droop when I was 12", after raising to 12.25" seems like they're useful again according to pics (at this height there's 2-3 threads left above the perch. The build quality is crazy, the bottom of the shock, where it bolts to the control arm, the whole thing is machined out of a single piece of aluminum, and the bushings that hold the bolt are stainless steel. There isn't a single weld on these things. The fronts did cheap out a little bit by not including anything for the abs wire bracket to bolt onto, but I just zip tied it to the shock body and don't forsee it ever becoming a problem. So how do they ride? Like black magic, the ride is downright plush, much more comfortable than stock bilsteins. You don't feel any harshness despite spring rates >2x those of stockers. The car still corners flat somehow. It's hard to explain, car never feels floaty, but bumps are soaked up with ease. I do need an alignmet, will update once I get a chance to get that taken care of. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Americas Tire may be able to help you out. What alignment settings are you planning on running? I ran front: -2.3, max caster, 0 toe rear: -2.0, 1/16 toe in which I found to be a near perfect track set up. I drove that daily for a couple sets. I would recommend front: -1.7, 0 toe rear: -1.4, 0 toe

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm not set on alignment #s yet, because I'm not set on ride height yet. Emilio's sending me bushings that are supposed to give the rear .4" more height. I'll see what my max height in the rear ends up being, and then I'll set the fronts about .5" lower. I'm hoping for 12"f + 12.5"r. If hit that height, I'm gonna try -2 camber, +4 caster, 0 toe, rears -1.8 camber, and +1/16 toe. I know some toe in the fronts gives better turn in, but at the expense of eating tires on the street. May still decide to do it if I finally reliable source for tires. I need the toe in the rear, since I already oversteer at times. I may just mimic your alignment settings w/o the front toe. Thanks for sharing. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score At -2 caster you may not be able to get your caster below 6. I doubt you will need any toe anywhere when the tires are up to operating temp. Just a heads up. You are entering a whole new world of grip... Get the car corner balanced and that should decide your height anywhere around 12". I personally would not go any higher then 12" on any corner if I could help it. It is not necessary unless for some reason you are finding your way to the bump stops often. My gripe with those c/o's are they are not independently height adjustable from preload. Good for racecar. Can't win em all.
