(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Vmaxx Coilovers Installed I'm No_Coin, I had an intro thread a while ago but all that got deleted in the forum crash deal, I'm not gonna bother with it again. ANYWAYS, it's an '01 LS (6spd, Torsen LSD) with a couple bolt ons nothing big. Normally don't have shit worth of money to put in the Miata, but Christmas came around and I purchased some VMaxx Coilovers. To give you some background if you havn't herad of em - you can get Vmaxx's from multiple vendors like Flyin' Miata and Stratmosphere. They were somewhere near 600 duckets, and are used for anything between Audi's, VW, Miatas, and some Civics I believe. They're a bang for your buck, they're a good for the street-not so much for the track-slam the shit out of your car- kind of coilover. On with the pics, LMK if you want more, I'll prob be adjustin' them more sometime when I'm able to go outside without gettin' raped by my own dick. Here's "Sellers", my roomate in college, balls deep in my wheel well. Back's a bit higher than the front, about two fingers kinda where wanted it. Maybe a bit of a rake goin on? I'll probably lower it a bit more. Front's slammed, can't go any more without rubbing a shit ton. Due to some extreme corrosion, ignorance, and some stubborn a-arms, this install took a hell of alot longer than I anticipated, but looking back on it, had i looked into the install and not just assumed it would be a no brainer, it would have gone alot smoother. I shouldn't have relied on Sellers It handles a hell of a lot better, more like a go-cart than ever, super tight, alot more solid. Considering my old suspension was past its prime, this was a major improvement for me. Stock blows at like 30,000 and I'm rounding the 65k marker. So yeah! Lemme know what you think, comments, suggestions, and flames are all welcome. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The engineers did an awesome job, it is almost idiot proof... almost. Nice car. Miatas will be the next 240s so get em now before they go up further in price and get ragged out.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's liteally as low as i can go in the front without rubbing hella. I've already had to raise it a bit from when this picture was taken. I've lowered the back about a quarter of an inch. It could maybe go a bit lower, and i might do that. but yeah i agree, I'm not a huge fan of my wheels either. I got them as soon as i got the car when i had just turned 16 (almost 5 yrs ago) and i was like "BIG RIMZ R BETTAR" and i've been stuck with them since. It's on the list of to do's. Aaron I searched for that hardtop on and off over the course of like 4 years. It was by complete luck/chance that I found that within driving distance for 700 bucks in great condition. I'm never lettin go of it |
