Cobb CF Front Splitter Mazdaspeed 3

[Haltech]

Here are some pictures of Cobb's front splitter made of carbon fiber. Note the struts in the front as well as it being secured underneath the FMIC. At this time, Cobb has no interest in going into production with this piece as its used only on their race car. If the community wants something like it, they may consider building it depending on how well its accepted. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures.

personally, i would like to see a nice finished CF piece like this go into production.

any shorter and it would be useless functionally. Small splitter are cosmetic at best.

does everyone realize that Cobb put this splitter together soley for tracking their shop MS3? this isn't a prototype for production.

so we can lay-off the criticism about the looks of it.

personally, I'd slap that puppy on my MS3 in a heartbeat.

I had a dream last night...one of my track buds was on the radio, we were going fast around the track, but when we started to push it with the power, he radioed, "We're running out of aero...out of aero!!!"

Any other options out there?

doubt it will even happen since there wasnt much interest in it. this isnt something that you would be cruising around on the street with anyways.

at dyno day, a prepped RSX has a custom CF/Kevlar front splitter/undertray made for one of the Speed World Challenge cars...

I could use more front end grip...
