| Not Ranked : 0 score I think i was one a different forum where they were trying to see if that even helped at all... i forget, cause with the hood properly down it creates certain areas of high and low pressure. But yea... it looks like crap

| Not Ranked : 0 score On the ms6 you can just remove the rubber molding on the back of the engine bay, and it'll let heat out. Whether or not it helps, i have no clue.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I like this idea. Im top mount TS gtx3576r with 3.5in intake and stock battery location. Just barely fits under the hood. Risers would allow me a 4in ontake but i hate the look. Think i'll pull the weather strip at the back. Relocate battery do a nice big 4in. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Somebody already tested these things on an MS3 to see if it actually decreased temps and it was major fail. No benefits what so ever. The only thing you get is a hood that doesn't line up and looks like shit. Stop wasting your time and money on these rediculous mods. Buy real parts that make real differences. Leave this stupid shit to all the ricers, they're good at polishing shit. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score What so rice about it? Hood spacers allow hot air to be able to circulate out of the engine bay. very popular in Japan, especially for highly modified cars.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The idea is to use the high-pressure area created at the windshield to blow air down into the engine bay, however this generally works much better on older cars that don't have windshields at such a high rake. Either way, it looks like someone broke something. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If they work with the top mount, if it would get bat's down any at all it would be worth it if it isn't rediculous expensive. In for any real insight that isn't just sighting the obvious, it's fugly, but so is 120+ bat's on the highway all summer long. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score More rice than function. I must admit that I had this on my SE-R back in my ricer days. With a TMIC, I could see these having more of an adverse affect for sure. And BTW, I just used washers.
