Interior led mod

I did this mod a few years ago and recently had somebody ask about doing theirs. Figured i would see if there was any interest in getting this done? I changed almost all the led's in my speed 6 to blue. here is a list of what i changed/modified

gauge cluster
stereo and climate control
climate control/stereo LCD
steering wheel buttons
door/window buttons
TCS/headlight level/ gauge brightness

Led's used are PLCC2 type (very bright) available in many different colors.
This task requires de-soldering the stock led's from the factory components, and soldering the new ones in. They are very small, i have included a picture for size reference.

But blue light hurts your night vision more than any other light.

I also did this a few years ago on my 3i. I haven't tackled it on my ms6 yet simply because i find it's a pain trying to cleanly de-solder and rework as you approach the 0805 and smaller smd components.

It definitely takes some skill, steady hands, and patience. As for night vision..don't know about the ms3, but the ms6 has that nifty little switch to dim or brighten the gauges and head unit. Blue is just what I chose to do mine in, but others can choose whatever they like (red,green,blue,orange,white,etc) or a combination if they please.
