Aluminum. 1.5" taller than stock, and smooth as glass. You can actually pull the shifter rearward just by pushing your fingers into the side of it (when shifting casually).

When you're getting after it, it's nice to get your whole hand wrapped around it.

I love it due to the little neck it has. I've always liked ball shift knobs but I didn't like how they sat right on top of the shift boot. As far as summer/winter it gets hot and cold just like any other metal shift knob would. If it's a really hot sunny day or a really cold day I'll take it into work with me so I don't burn/freeze my hand when I get back into the car.

I may have made it seem extreme but any metal shift knob is going to be the same. I disliked the way the stock shift knob felt so I went with this one and I honestly love it. I've used larger knobs (similar to the TWM big type r) and I just didn't like the feel in my hand.

I just noticed your mod list. I have the TWM STS (love it) but I think it sits a little lower, as well. Kinda sucks you're so far downstate otherwise I'd love to put it through it's paces. I've never once disliked the stock shift knob. But I understand that I could benefit from a heavier knob. I'm genuinely intrigued now. You gonna be in MD in April?

Haha bought it used from jroc and he had it powdercoated red. Didn't really like the color too much so I stripped the paint and this is what it looked like. I had intentions of respraying it black but liked this look
