(Thread Starter) |   Neutral : +1 score  Really bored today.... so i began to Plasti Dip So I was very bored this afternoon and always wanted to have black emblems. But without going through the trouble of sanding, priming and painting (Than hoping it wont chip away after a week). Here are my results: First I masked of the area (yes i sprayed the painted area, don't be scared) First coat of Plasti Dip (I was a bit nervous that I sprayed it like that) After the third coat I began to peel away parts of the Plasti Dip Finished product, I waited around 20-30 mins in between each coat. The excess plasti dip came off without any trouble. The mazdaspeed emblem, same process as the other emblem. Just a bit tricky taking all the excess paint off because of the tight grooves. I used a very thin flat head. Buddy of mine took the pictures with his cell, im still waiting for more If only I knew about this stuff a few years ago and if you get bored of the look. Simply peel it off.
