Rolla roof rack

The MS6 has OEM threaded mouting poiunts in the rain gutter under the black plastic covers. The rola roof rack uses these and has aerodynamic feet and crossbeams. Best looking rack, but only available in AU.

Doesn't look bad, but everytime I think of a roof rack it is on a hatchback/SUV.

Ya, but I drive this and need someting to carry bikes and skis. So I needed a roof rack, but this was the only one I was willing to put on the car.

Do either of those have aerodynamically shaped feet or crossbeams?

the feet are pretty aerodynamic. the bar is round, and howls without the wind deflector.

if you have pics post them up. I dont think they have these widely available for the 6, thou. All they had was the strap on kit so I wanted the rola roof rack cause the way it bolts onto the 6 and for its looks. Very quite with no wind deflecter. I can hear it with the sun roof open but otherwise I dont hear it.

Those mounts look exactly the same as the speed3/3 mounts. I have no pics with the load bars on. but the mounting points are on in my sig

Hey just curious on the Rola roof rack, do you know the length of the bars you purchased? Where they 41.5 inches?

IDK what you want me to measure but they are less than 41.5 inches and front and rear are not the same.

Yeah I know, old post, but I want to put one on my '07 MS6. I want to use the factory mounting points and not use the type of mount that connects inside the door jam. I have measured the front myself and their roughly 41.5 inches, didn't measure the back yet. I'm really curious to know if I bought a longer rack, could I cut the end of the crossbars if they're too long and still be able to connect the end/tower feet back to the bar itself after cutting? Don't really know how these Rola racks come apart.

The feet take up some room so the bar is like 34.5" or something. Im not sure how the feet come out of the bar but im sure you could do that.
Im not sure where you would get a rolla roof rack of any size but as posted above Thule and Yakima make ones that bolt in as well.
