WARNING: For MS6's with LED tails

Background:

so on my way back from dustins house last summer my horn stopped working and so did my brake lights. i was baffled at what it could be but this wasent my first rodeo with electrical gremlins. turns out both are powered by one 20A fuse in the engine bay labeled "STOP" (dont ask me how long it took to find that lol)

so i replaced the fuse and it kept blowing every once in a while. i then replaced it with a 25A fuse to get it to stop blowing which was a REALLY BAD IDEA. i blew 2 BCM's (body control modules) before i figured out what the problem was.

fast forward to this month, i started blowing the fuse again but more often, first it was 1 month between blowing, then 1 week, a day, to finally i would step on the brakes and it would instantly blow after replacing it. i went through the entire circuit before my buddy jake told me to take a look at the actual lights in the trunk and make sure everything was A-OK.



FIX:

to my surprise i found that the PnP plugs for the OUTSIDE lights have these stupid fucking metal pins that stick out past the actual harness plug and they were touching the body itself. WTF!!!!!!! whats the point of making a plug if it doesent protect the circuit inside? well i taped that bitch up and i havent blown a fuse since.
