This shit with the power steering delete was a mistake. I simply cannot believe Code Monkey can turn the wheel with one hand while parking. The effort required to steer at slow speed is brutal. The only benefit I can find is that feedback at medium to high speed turns is sharper.

Tried ridiculously low caster and it only made it slighlty better. I do not believe the whiteline bushings would make it much better either.

At some point I'll install the whole thing back in + new steering rack. It's just no fun driving the car like this.

^ I came to the same conclusion. Lost about 2-3 seconds per lap on a 2-minute road course.

Scrub radius. Deepen that offset and get the tire closer to the coil.

Bought a used rack from ebay and installed it with some upgraded components. The reservoir is from KSE and has an integrated paper cartridge filter inside at the inlet. Nice unit.
The PS cooler is about 6" longer than the previous one and I re-located it behind the FMIC but with a gap between it and the plastic frame that sits the radiator. I also bumped the FMIC about an inch higher so that there is gap large enough to allow air to pass below it. That means the scoop that's on the bottom of the bumper should be directing a lot more air toward it than the previous location on top of the crash bar behind the bumper.

You will also notice there is an anal looking cavity on the driver's side headlight made of carbon fiber. Yes that is a true ram air intake and yes that is true CF. I hais teh ram. Nothing will yield lower intake temps than this set up although its not really compatible with wet conditions.
