msp coolant temperature problem need help

Ok so I have a 03 speed I bought used an have nothing but Problems .fans won't come on unless I have the coolant temp sensor. unpluged an it an th3 car runs rich. I'm using way to much fule only code is for a coolant temperature sensor. An I put in like 3 .I have 5v when unplugged.I used a wire diagrams checked everything on the orange wire rote.have power everywhere but o2s that I can see sofar any one else have this problem an if so what fixed it
