Default Car will not start
installed my internals and everything went smoothly drove it around all good no issues. Next morning the car would not turn over. The lights would come on likes its all good then nothing. I sent the AP and ECU to COBB uninstalled the AP sent it back and still nothing. (ECU was not reading the AP) COBB said AP and ECU are good. Check all my fuses in the engine bay and in the car. I am about to take my battery to get it check just in case.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. All she does is turn the lights on. The car does not even try to turn over.

Checked the clutch pedal sensor dealio? How old is your battery, do the lights dim when starting?

not that i noticed. What am i looking for when checking the clutch sensor? never fucked with that.

Not exactly sure. I think there is a connector, as well as a relay involved. Some friends have bypassed it for remote starters though.

found the issue. It was one of the ignition coils. Its fried to shit. Freaked me out due to the smoke. Didn't think those things would smoke like that and fuck they are not cheap. $125 a piece,

shit! sounds epic, but at least it was a relatively easy fix.

smoke would have freaked me out too.

coils don't normally melt them selves down. It's normally affiliated to to a short to ground or a stuck coil driver in the pcm. The reason they normally smoke is because they are not cycling and just running max output and overheating.

Coils also don't prevent it from turning over, either. Smoking coils might be a symptom of a larger problem.
