Default ebrake light & traction control light come on and stay on

Yesterday my e-brake light and traction control light came on when i accelerated hard to beat a red light and stayed on until i got to work, which was only a block away. When i came out for lunch and to leave for the day the lights did not come back on.

Today, i leave for work and under normal, not hard acceleration they come back on and stay on. I get to work, shut down and restart to find out if they are still on and they are.

Does anyone know what these two lights coming on means?

Update
The next day, when i started my car in the morning, before letting it idle, i tried disengaging the e-brake. the light went off then immediatly the e-brake light and traction control lights came on.

Today 9/13 - I let my car idle then went to go to work. I backed out of my driveway and drove maybe 200 ft down the road and both lights came on again.

Could this have something to do with the temp and thats why it only happens in the morning? Has anyone else seen this?

Are you getting any codes?

This has happened to me before with the traction light....clear codes (if nothing needs to addressed) and restart the car.

This happened to a buddy of mine after he replaced his rear axles. It had to do with the rear ABS sensors.

Also, I'll say it again as well... check your brake fluid level.

Brake fluid looks a little low, but not close to the sensor.

I recently got a P0128 code. I cleared it and it came back a couple days later.

Today I let my car idle a little longer and its a little warmer. The ebrake light and traction control lights did not come on.
