(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have an 08 with 45k on it. It has always smoked from time to time. Of course I did banjo bolt. 5w40 oil, upping idle, oil catch can ect. And the issue did get a little better. But the other day it started smoking really bad as soon as the car is a normal temps and not just at idle, all the time. Large white clouds of smoke with a strong burnt oil smell. Checked compression and all cylinders are between 150-160. Changed plugs and oil again to be sure and still the same. Runs and drives great just loads of smoke. I don't have a ton of money to fix the issue but starting to think my turbo is completely shot?

| Not Ranked : 0 score If the intake tract is clean, probably the turbo. Doesn't sound like ringlands, OCRs or PCV. Might check the PCV valve for one way flow, just in case. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score well found out why it smokes so bad..... also too add pvc is working fine, and no oil in any part of the intake or intercooler piping. so you think my turbo seals are nonexistent at this point and just leaking right in to the exhaust?

| Not Ranked : 0 score When my turbo went it was actually pushing oil into the top mount. You could pull your top mount and look inside the turbo. There was a very noticeable amount of oil there Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score Shouldn't oil be gray / black? Does water leak into the turbo and exhaust when the seals go?
