White smoke? PLEASE HELP

i notice when i start my car there is white smoke coming from the exhaust. It kinda smells like gun powder. it doesnt always smoke... i mainly notice it if im sitting in a drive thru and there is smoke all around my car. and some of my friends have told me that they have seen smoke coming from my car when i drove off... so i took some video of the smoke and really need you guys help! the video with the most smoke really surprised me, i had no idea it smoked that much!

Looks like the turbo seals. Bring it to the dealer and have them look at it.

Do a search on here for blown turbo and you'll find some.

I see smoke coming from the rear too, but usually only at Taco Bell drive-thrus.

but i figured if it was something seriously wrong, it would constantly blow smoke out like that... but its not constant and it rides perfectly! no knocking, nothing! and there isnt any lag in the get up and go or anything?

your car is not supposed to do that. unless this is a seaFoam prank?

But on a serious note, do you have exhaust? Downpipe? Straight pipe?

this isent uncommon. get a new turbo or buy all the PCV fix's cause a new turbo from the dealer isent going to help. also switch to 5w-40

if its under warrenty take it in. Put stock parts back on before you take it in unless your dealer is cool.

Yes eveything back to stock except the suspension.
Change the oil to 5/40 and get the PTP pill first and give it about 2 weeks and see what happens. Or go to dealer get a new turbo and a few weeks later it does it again.

PTP pill is the only thing that worked for me and for 25 bucks or whatever it costs now it was the best money I ever spent. I never smoke now and before I was like you a smoking chocking MOFO.

Your assesment is spot on, I have an '06 Speed 6 and I was having the same issue and I took it in to the Ford/Mazda dealership this morning. The guy from Mazda just called and said that the turbo was getting clogged and that they are swapping the oil out for 5/40. He said they've been having problems with the turbos in the 3's, CX-7's and 6's and the oil change should fix it.

It must be a pretty big issue because Mazda is footing the bill for the oil change even though the warranty was up 5,000 miles ago.

When I dropped it off I told the guy that I change the oil myself and that I only use fully synthetic. He said they might need a service record so that Mazda would reimburse them for the oil change but that he wasn't too worried about it. I couldn't believe it because the dude remembered that I only use synthetic and actuallly drove to the store and bought it for the oil change.
