| Not Ranked : 0 score your best bet is to never buy anything on the cutting edge, and never go with the cheapest stuff. fall somewhere in between. brand isn't super important, as all mfg's release turds sometimes, and no mobo gets perfect reviews. buy a mobo that has all of the features you want and maybe then some so that it's at least 5 year proof, and by that i mean get something that can take 32gb of ram, a faster CPU later, usb3.0, etc. newegg reviews are your friend.
