Default does wax strip paint

basically the story goes like this my wife and I are getting a new mazda 3 and I am still keeping the speed which is good!!the salesman wanted us to purchase this sealant for 250 pounds which I said no but he also said not to wax the car as it strips the paint this is a new one on me??is this because of the paints they use now a days??what do you guys think??

People are dumb and they want your money.

It only affects the clear coat negatively if you dig into the paint or buff into an edge, as opposed to away.

I've had good success with the zaino stuff. My cars white tho. I'm gonna try the chemical guys xxx wax next which is a semisyn carnauba wax.

I used the wolfgang fuzion. That shit kicks ass. Now I own a black car and use Chemical Guys BLACK. Go with the Fuzion you will not be dissapointed. I have well over 2k of shit sitting in my garage, I only used fuzion haha.

Be careful wheeling these cars out. Mine was pretty scratched when I bought it used. My last panel I did I burned the clear a tad. I learned from our detailer that these cars are pretty thin cleared..

First time burning paint ever. Its fixed and fine though. I about died, had the car for 3days lol.
