| Not Ranked : 0 score Put my car up on jackstands in the driveway Friday and took wheels, wheel wells and pumpers off. Then used my 90* tip on my pressure washer to clean the dirt off everything. All went well except with I tried to hook up my zip tie to hold the trigger on and lost my grip and the want spun 360* around and nailed my rear quarter panel so now I have a big dent I need to get repaired. Also note the rear wheel well covers are carpet and absorb road salt and every time the get wet the salt is reactivated and is likely what has caused so many MS6/M6 rear quarter panels to rust out. So I left mine off. Another issue is where the rear bumper rubs on the rear quarter panel. I have tried to repair this before when I saw the paint rubbed off but seems it is just going to keep happening.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Here are pics of rust before pressure washing. Sorry for so many pics but as you can see I had some bad rust. PS rear door forming rust in the door jam. I will have to pull panels as it looks like it is forming from the inside. I had some rust in rear quarter panels from the wheel well covers and from rolling the fenders. I sprayed the shit out of the wheel wells. Sprayed everything. Sprayed underside of hood. Sprayed in hood using the hose on the can thru the holes. Then using no hose but catching the bottom lip of the spray tip on the sheet metal and spraying all up in there. Did around weather strip in trunk where there was rust on bottom where the sheet metal was joined under the weather strip. My trunk lid has some rust due to spray foam I put in there that over expanded and cracked welds at front/top PS side. Hard to get up under rear subframe. Wish I had done this 80k ago or at least a few years ago when car was still fairly clean. One winter of 100mi round trip commuting in CT on highways where they use the liquid magnesium chloride or some other chloride ice melt. Rear crash bar was a mess of rust as it has no protection on the inside so I just sprayed as much as I could in there. Front exhaust heat shield is also a mess. Really need to remove these and get behind them. But in the end then you might was well strip car and do it all...so much work. I have no after shots cause I just needed to get car back together. Used 5-6 cans. So get under your car and rust proof. Next time I will just pay the $350 to have a local place do fluid film. Doing this job was a sticky mess.
