(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Not worth it. It puts on a good show, but overall it is likely better to just claybar and scrub. Before: ![]() During: ![]() *Didn't get an after shot for this one* Before: ![]() After: ![]() Before: ![]() After: ![]() Before: ![]() During: ![]() After: |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You may have to use a fuckton of it, but it will eventually get it off... I had some badly caked DTC60 dust on my wheels that I thought would never come off (I even started claybarring before I found the Sonax stuff), but using a ton of Sonax (like, almost enough to submerse the damn wheels), letting it soak thoroughly, and adding a bit of elbow grease into the mix as well was still a lot easier than using the claybar, and it got them clean.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I can't stand that crap. Doesn't work all that well and smells like cat litter. For the amount you have to use, just get the maguires stuff in the purple bottle and wax your wheels.

| You need a wheel acid, like what professional detailers use. I use to get mine from a company called Kratz, but I don't know that they will supply a person just wanting some for themselves. http://www.kratzautosupply.com/ Or ask them where you can buy such miracles in a bottle. Long story short, a spray bottle and like 2 seconds of your time will have them looking super fresh.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I follow a similar path. Spray them down wheel/rim cleaner, then with an iron based remover, scrub with a brush and then clay before applying rim wax.
